Bill provided a two page Agenda. He outlined membership, meetings, workshops, use of machines, safety training, Chinese auction, upcoming shows, and possible field trips.

Bill has copies of the required Recreation Release Agreement. Each member needs to turn one in at the main desk, Sea Breeze.

Good news regarding the slab saw- for a cost of less than a dollar Bill and his helpers were able to get it back running fine!

A donated box of Petoskey stones was put into the auction in several lots.

Dick Goodspeed Treasurers report given. After expenses and deposits the net is $ 2,336.03.

Dick contacted the ELOXITE Company to buy findings. They will give us a 10% discount.

Safety Glasses are now available for use during workshops. Members are encouraged to buy their own safety glasses for personal use.

Christine Courtwright, Show Chairman, reminded us of the show we will have January 31, 2015. She has secured the Paradise room in addition to the large salesroom. This room, and tables, will be available to allow other clubs to demonstrate their crafts. Crafters wishing to sell their wares will pay
 $ 30.00 for use of a table.

A suggestion was made to always set up both trim saws at workshops.

Dick Goodspeed announced that he is stepping down as Treasurer. Dick will concentrate on teaching new members how to use the machines and the Art of Lapidary.

General Safety Rules are posted on the web site. Detailed operation and safety rules for each of the machines are yet to be developed.

Christmas Party is December 4, 2014.
